Yesterday around the house.

When I don’t get a ‘special treat’ biscuit when I want one.

Scenic flight to Cockatoo Island in a small plane.

The Pilot.

The Little Polar Bear.

Bob the Builder.
Truck drivers because I like big trucks and machinery.

I paint my own with matchbox cars and trucks.

New Fridge, with ice dispenser.

Pioneers of the Kimberley region for their sense of adventure.

Bee (Beverley) Long.

Two and a half years ago to work at Broome Recreation Centre.

Sympathy for the devil – Rolling Stones.

Broome Shire decision not to pick up green waste in their pre-cyclone clean up and no notice to rate payers, only a note in the paper a week before.

New Oven.

Brad Pitt – I’m sure he is a good conversationalist!!

Clint Eastwood – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

8. Who inspires you and why?
My friend Alison has had a few personal setbacks over the years and is recently recovering from breast cancer, yet she is the most positive and selfless person I know. She is always putting others first and bringing a smile to our faces. She is a true inspiration.

9. What is your favourite work of art?
Taj Mahal.

10. What do you regret?
Not buying a second investment property in Broome years ago.

2. When was the last time you rode a bike and where were you going?
About ten years ago, zipping between Stanmore and Glebe through Sydney Uni.

3. What’s your all time favourite song?
Joni Mitchell’s ‘Big Yellow Taxi’

4. What makes you angry?
When people make judgements about me without bothering to get to know me.

5. If you won $2000 what would you buy?
An aeroplane ticket to Europe to visit galleries and museums, cafes and theatre.

6. Who would you like to sit next to on an aeroplane?
My boyfriend.

7. What is your all time favourite film?
I liked ‘Magnolia’ for its structure and subversive story. My favourite Australian film is ‘Love and Other Catastrophes’.

8. Who inspires you and why?
I admire the way the actor Cate Blanchett handles fame and the media and her power. She maintains a personal poise and integrity that I find incredibly beautiful.

9. What is your favourite work of art?
I currently like community art projects such as PostSecret that utilise the internet as a technology for linking people.

10. What do you regret?
Being financially undisciplined and undirected.

11. What is your favourite gadget?
My laptop.

12. What would you most like to be doing in ten years, where and with who?
I see myself teaching art at Lorien, living happily with a family of my own on acreage with chooks, vegie garden and a goat.

When I was 16 and on the way home from athletic training

People telling direct lies

I’d buy myself a nice diamond ring to replace my lost engagement ring, sharing the remaining amount amongst my children.

I once sat next to an interesting lady enthusiastic in helping others who had been a nun and left. I like hearing stories about people who have done different charity work.

The one about ladies singing jazz who were in gaol.

My daughter Lisa because she is always having new adventures.

Michaelangelo’s ‘David’ for the muscle definition and strong features.

That I am tone deaf as I would like to be able to sing.

My friend and work colleague Paul Hopkins because he always has the respect of his peers and manages teams with loyalty to him, he is a good leader. He is inclusive and is can adjust to circumstance as it changes.

Our painting of houses in Hoi An, Vietnam because it reminds me of our holiday and it brightens the room.

Tearing my hamstring when I was learning to waterski.

In a liaison officer posting at The Hague, a senior position in the middle of Europe. With my family.

I rode a bike in term 2 three times a week with students along a bike path to the driving range.

Neglect of children.

I’d bank half and I’d buy some new shoes – a black pair of strappy sandals and a black pointed high heel and a new pair of running shoes.

I am inspired by women who take on the challenges of leadership roles in our society, particularly those who look for a different way of doing things.

A photographic study by a year 12 student at school of Ziggy (a local bagman), Jesus and Abraham where the portraits looked uncannily alike.

Not learning the value of patience with myself earlier.

I’d like to take long service leave and travel during summer in Europe particularly Spain and Tuscany with Justin and our golf bags.
